What sets us apart from conventional clinics is that we use digital technology for dental crown treatments. This means you do not need to come for multiple visits to receive a beautifully crafted porcelain crown. In most cases, a single visit is sufficient.

Swedish Dental uses modern technology, making it possible to complete the treatment on the same day.

We use our exceptional Cerec® machine. This enables us to take a digital impression and create a porcelain crown that we mill and then fire in our dental furnace. We complete all of this in a single visit. The precision and quality are exceptionally high, which allows us to offer extensive guarantees on our work.

We have over 20 years of experience with this technology, which means that Swedish Dental’s dentists can offer you a safe, efficient, and exceptionally aesthetic result after treatment.

Dental crowns are designed to restore teeth that have broken or have large cavities. This treatment is an excellent alternative to conventional composite fillings. Large composite fillings can sometimes cause sensitivity and have a greater risk of dislodging, as retention can be difficult to achieve.

Treatment Process:

  • Patients typically come in as an emergency when a tooth has broken.
  • Digital photographs and X-rays are taken for documentation of the tooth. An examination is performed by the dentist, and if time permits, the tooth is treated with a crown. Otherwise, a new appointment is scheduled for further treatment.
  • Anesthesia is applied.
  • The dentist prepares the tooth and takes a digital impression of the tooth.
  • Design and shaping of the new dental crown
  • Trial fitting, followed by firing the porcelain in a specialized furnace.
  • Cementation of the dental crown.
