Tooth fractures often happen suddenly and without warning, at the worst possible time. Call us as soon as it happens, as it is always best to treat this condition as quickly as possible. We try to see you and help you the same day here at Swedish Dental. Different types of tooth fractures need to be treated in different ways. The smallest fractures can easily be treated with a regular composite filling, or by simply smoothing the tooth. When the damage to the tooth is more extensive, we at Swedish Dental recommend treatment with porcelain fillings, which can mean anything from a porcelain inlay/onlay to a crown if the damage is too great.

What happens with large composite fillings is that they break more easily, as there is not enough tooth structure to support the filling itself.

If you need a crown, we can use our fantastic Cerek machine to treat you in a single visit, which minimises your time away from work.
